About MissingsWorld
Losing something matters far more than its price. A wallet is an afternoon of phone calls. A bag is a set of keys, a laptop, someone's medication. A child's toy is a week of bad nights.
MissingsWorld is a community Lost & Found platform. Members report what they lost and what they found, listings are reviewed by a human administrator, and matching brings the two sides together so they can verify and reunite safely.
What we do
- • Host lost and found reports that anyone can search.
- • Review every listing before it becomes public.
- • Suggest possible matches from category, wording, area and date.
- • Provide an assistant that answers questions and finds real listings.
- • Publish safety guidance for verification and handovers.
What we deliberately don't do
- • We are not a police or emergency service.
- • We do not handle missing person cases.
- • We do not transport, store or insure items.
- • We do not guarantee recovery, and we never charge to release an item.
- • We do not publish anyone's private contact details.
